A new study that was done by the journal, "Environment Health Perspectives" found out that cell phones probably do not cause cancer. They said this because they found that the evidence that they had accumulated was mostly not matching with the concept of cell phones causing cancer. . People who used cell phones for the longest amount of time were no more likely to experience tumors located within 5 centimeters of the phone, where "90 percent of the radiation" is emitted.
Many studies have claimed that cell phones cause cancer. Prestigious organizations like the World Health Organization published a study in May claiming cell phones cause cancer but the recent study has rubbished reports somewhat. The study was done on 13,000 users of cell phones and this study spanned over a decade. Ultimately there were vague answers as to whether cell phones caused cancer or not; mostly the evidence was not matching. Since environmental factors take time before the consequences are seen; cell phones do not cause cancer as of now.
